Hi, I’m Josh Conable, owner of Conable Builders, former deck supplier, husband, and someone who spent nearly a decade helping homeowners and contractors fix things that should’ve been built right the first time.
Most people who call me are in the same boat: unsure who to trust, burned by a past contractor, or just tired of half-answers and ghosted timelines.
I built this company to give homeowners the experience I wish more people had:

Outstanding design and build of our new Trex deck.
Josh easily agreed to obtain all county permits and inspections, which he did on a timely basis; whereas all but one other bidder pushed back on our requirement to get permits which Douglas County told me were mandatory.
Josh was easygoing and easy to talk to. His attention to detail without being asked was admirable. His prices were reasonable considering the high quality work/materials and extra features. Lower bidders included much lesser materials and features. Josh’s helper, Steve, was also nice and also did highest quality work.
Josh was very reliable and communicated every day when he would be here. He was knowledgeable on how to install water drainage system and beetle kill wood on the underside of the deck (visible from the ground floor looking up).

I consider myself a bit OCD, and my expectations were really exceeded when I saw:
1) All the fastening that was needed (not more) placed as discretely as possible.
2) No seams or spliced boards.
3) Clean lines on paint touch-ups, and
4) A custom crafted technique on our fascia boards that allows for natural expansion and contraction, so it always looks right!
