Conable Builders constructed a high quality cable railing and lighting design highlighting our multi-level view deck. During the build, Conable noticed and reported some safety considerations in the existing deck structure and stairway, which they expertly remedied.
Conable stayed on the job through completion without interruption. All of the Conable team were highly skilled and checked in with us regularly to make certain that the final product was what we wanted. Josh Conable provides honest bids, secure contracts and timely invoicing.

Outstanding design and build of our new Trex deck. Josh easily agreed to obtain all county permits and inspections, which he did on a timely basis; whereas all but one other bidder pushed back on our requirement to get permits which Douglas County told me were mandatory.
Josh was easygoing and easy to talk to. His attention to detail without being asked was admirable. His prices were reasonable considering the high quality work/materials and extra features. Lower bidders included much lesser materials and features. Josh’s helper, Steve, was also nice and also did highest quality work. J
osh was very reliable and communicated every day when he would be here. He was knowledgeable on how to install water drainage system and beetle kill wood on the underside of the deck (visible from the ground floor looking up). Thanks Josh, we love the new deck!!

Josh, John and their team did an amazing job with our deck replacement. They were very easy to work with, especially through a tricky closing process on our new house that needed the deck repaired quickly. The finished deck, pergola, and sun shades they installed for are beautiful and sturdy!
We can’t wait for the weather to warm up a bit so we can spend all spring and summer out on our new decks! Josh and John communicated efficiently and consistently always keeping us updated on their status.
They worked with us to make a few small changes throughout the process and came back after finished installation to make sure the deck was cleaned thoroughly and effectively before leaving the jobsite for good. We are huge fans of Josh and his team and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new deck!

We’ve just had an elevated deck completed by Conable Builders, and I will try to express what a great job they did throughout the build, and how delighted we are with the finished product. If I had to sum it up in a few words, I would say communication, professional service, and attention to detail.
Because I work from home, I was able to bring up questions before their workday started. They heard and responded to my feedback on the prior day’s progress with actions and minor adjustments. Communication (A+)
Their daily cleanup of the jobsite was outstanding, and their respect for the trees that brushed up against the new structure was really thoughtful and professional. Professional Service (A+)
I consider myself a bit OCD, and my expectations were really exceeded when I saw 1) All the fastening that was needed (not more) placed as discretely as possible. 2) No seams or spliced boards. 3) Clean lines on paint touch-ups, and 4) A custom crafted technique on our fascia boards that allows for natural expansion and contraction, so it always looks right! Attention to detail (A+)
I’m very pleased with my whole experience, and would highly recommend them.
